CNC Saw Operator

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Saw Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) saw machines to cut various materials with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all cutting operations meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC saw machines ensuring accurate cuts according to detailed blueprints and specifications

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to determine proper tooling and cutting parameters

- Program CNC machines using specialized software to optimize cutting sequences and ensure precision

- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC saws and related machinery to maintain optimal performance

- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection of finished parts

- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for various materials such as sheet metal, tubing, or structural components

- Operate forklifts, cranes, or press brake machines as needed for material handling or fabrication tasks

- Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall workmanship before final assembly or shipment

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications accurately

- Skilled in CNC programming and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues quickly

- Ability to use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setting machine parameters

- Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and quality inspection methods using micrometers and other precision instruments

- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing setting is preferred

- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to ensure consistent quality standards

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
