We’re seeking a CNC operator to help expand our team. This is a mid-level role with opportunities for advancement. Ideal candidate is safety oriented with a strong work ethic. This individual is dependable, punctual and can work independently or with others.
- Program, Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machine
- Ensure CNC presses to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment (including cleaning), troubleshoot issues
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of tooling, materials, and factory equipment such as forklifts and fabrication tools.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity.
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flex presses within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, CAD
- Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and other quality control tools effectively.
- Strong math skills
- Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts
- Warehouse experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality assurance in a fast-paced environment.
- Wood working knowledge
