Saw Operator

Sims Steel is family owned and operated company that has been servicing the industry for 55 years. we are currently looking to add another full-time saw operator. This individual must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. We offer a competitive salary with benefits, paid time off, 401k, health insurance and overtime is available. Job description

- Operating automatic band saw

- Read work orders to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.

- Ability to read tape measure & cut to per basic dimensional tolerances.

- Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes

- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goal

- Forklift exp.

- Must be able to lift 50lbs.

- Ability to perform basic math calculations

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Detail oriented and able to multi-task

- organize & storge material

- keep accurate inventory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
