Salary Range: $16.76 – $25.15 (based on skill level)
Plus: $1.00/hour night shift differential and weekly attendance bonus equal to 1.5 hours of overtime.

Our CNC Machine Operators are skilled in setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerical Control machinery. Begin your journey with us, learning basic machine operations then advancing to machine set-ups. You will work with top brands such as Rattunde, Sinico, and BLM, including state-of-the-art CNC equipment with robotics. You will produce high-quality precision metal tube parts for the automotive industry. Your willingness to learn and advance your skill level will provide you with opportunities for growth and advancement. Becoming a team member and following instructions are essential in the work environment since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers and management. Your goal will be to ensure production procedures are conducted smoothly to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Operate CNC lathe machines within specific tolerances.
- Maintain machine set-up calibrations. (e.g., adjustments, cleaning, speed, and changing cutting inserts)
- Feed raw material into machine.
- Conduct continuous quality inspections by checking for flaws and using measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot, fix, and report any mechanical problems, nonconformities, and discrepancies that occur during the shift.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. (e.g., clean up, oiling, greasing, adding fluids)
- Maintain detailed activity logs as required, such as production output, quality inspections, and daily maintenance completion.
- Adhere to safety requirements and maintain a clean organized work area.
- Follow work instructions, technical drawings, and machine programming to produce parts to precise customer specifications.
- Assist team members to keep multiple machines running.
- Support other production needs as assigned.
- Advance your skill level to setting up machines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- (Preferred) 1+ years of trade school, vocational school, work experience, or apprenticeship.- Speak, read, and write English.
- Successfully pass: drug screen, background check, and skills testing in graphic literacy, workplace documents, and observation.
- Able to understand and apply mechanical principles in problem solving and machinery adjustments.
- Able to perform basic math and measurement functions.
- Possess the propensity to be a self-starter, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
- Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.).
- Understand internal Quality Policy and general ISO/TS 16949 requirements.
- Have competencies in OSHA safety rules and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Have good organizational skills.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to floor.
- Good eye-hand coordination.
- Exert up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Basic color perception, peripheral and depth perception, close vision of 20 inches or less, and distance vision of more than 20 feet.
- N5 acuity or accommodation is required for reading machine dial gauges and screen monitors, technical prints, measuring instruments used in part’s inspection, and work documentation.
- Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.
- Moderate to high noise levels from operating machines.
- Physical hazards from moving equipment and machined metal parts.
- Skin exposure consists of oils, cutting fluids, and soaps.
- Potential for heat, humidity, and cold conditions.
- May be required to perform other shop duties when needed.
- May require overtime or off shift hours depending on customer needs.
