Metal & Wood Products, a leading custom metal fabrication shop specializing in high-end architectural details, is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to exciting projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Operate and maintain waterjet cutting and CNC milling machines to ensure accurate and efficient material processing.
· Load and unload raw materials into CNC machines.
· Read and interpret fabrication drawings to prepare and vet programs for material processing.
· Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure quality and troubleshoot any issues.
· Collaborate with the design team to optimize processing time and increase material yield.
· Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure successful project outcomes.
· Organize raw material inventory and post-processed materials.
· Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent)
· 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience (minimum)
· Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
· Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings accurately.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
· Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
