Business Development Representative

About the Role

Hydro Solutions is hiring a motivated Business Development Representative to grow our customer base through post-install visits, referrals, reviews, community outreach, and outbound calling.

This role starts with relationship-based growth and expands into outbound calling as referral pipelines are established.

Key ResponsibilitiesPost-Install Relationship Management

- Visit customers after installation to:

- Confirm satisfaction

- Answer basic system questions

- Reinforce value and brand trust

- Act as a professional representative of Hydro Solutions and Maytag systems

Referrals & Reviews

- Proactively request:

- Customer referrals

- Google and online reviews

- Educate customers on referral incentives

- Track and report referral outcomes

Outbound Calling (Growth Phase)

- Conduct outbound calls to:

- Referred leads

- Warm leads

- Aged leads and follow-ups

- Schedule in-home water assessments or site surveys

- Maintain professionalism and compliance on all calls

Note: Cold calling is introduced once referral and review pipelines are consistently produced.Community Outreach & Events

- Plan and attend:

- Community events

- HOA meetings

- Local expos and markets

- Build relationships with:

- Realtors

- Builders

- Property managers

- Local businesses

Reporting & Performance Tracking

- Track:

- Visits completed

- Referrals generated

- Reviews collected

- Calls made and appointments set

- Provide customer feedback and growth insights to management

Qualifications

- Strong communication and people skills

- Comfortable with both in-person visits and phone outreach

- Organized and self-driven

- Experience in:

- Business development

- Customer service

- Sales or outbound calling (preferred)

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
