As part of our 30-30 Growth Plan, we are in search of business development professionals who are interested in being part of our disruptive market growth. Since our product is distinct from most of the products in the market, we are positioned to increase our share of the market quickly and effectively. We are looking for teammates who excel in hunting for new business and customer acquisition.

Position Summary: The BDM plays a critical role in our growth – responsible for understanding the market channels and creating new business with existing customers and new customer acquisitions. New business development and customer growth is our company priority, and the growth and development of each region is a key piece of our overall growth in North America. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional and local site service providers, fence contractors and distribution partners in the temporary fence market. As a BDM, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling ZND temporary fence panels, accessories, and pedestrian barriers. Your territory will cover a specific geographic region where you will strategically identify potential customers, build partnerships, and manage the growth of key accounts to achieve sales targets.

Salary Range: $70K - $90K / $150K total compensation

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development*:

•

Actively prospect for new customers through market relationships, cold calling, networking events, trade shows, and other relevant channels. This activity is supported by an inside team that is actively prospecting leads generated from our marketing efforts.

•

Collaborate with distribution partners to leverage their network and increase market penetration.

•

Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service improvement.

Sales Strategy and Territory Management:*

•

Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and action plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the assigned territory.

•

Identify potential customers and conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.

•

Collaborate with the Sales management to set territory-specific goals, objectives, and performance metrics.

Customer Relationship Management*:

•

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, regional and local site service providers, and fence contractors in the region, serving as their primary point of contact.

•

Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions by recommending suitable ZND temporary fence panel products and services.

•

Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and presentations to generate new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships.

Sales Performance and Reporting*:

· Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by consistently achieving and exceeding revenue and volume goals.

· Track and analyze sales data, prepare sales reports, and provide regular updates to the Sales Director on sales activities, progress, and market insights.

· Actively use Salesforce to communicate needs, report activity, and share market intelligence.

Qualifications and Skills:

•

Hunter mentality. Focused on new business development.

•

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

•

Ability to close new business. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence customer behavior.

•

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

•

5 years of sales experience in the building materials or construction equipment field is preferred.

•

Familiarity with temporary fence panels and the fence rental market is highly desirable.

•

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.

•

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
