Position: Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to support and lead corporate business development initiatives across a designated geographic area. This role involves developing client relationships, identifying opportunities, supporting proposal efforts, and representing the company at industry events and trade shows. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, and passionate about connecting people, building partnerships, and supporting strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:•Cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients across the assigned region.
•Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
•Identify and track project leads, bid opportunities, and RFQs from federal, state, and local sources.
•Coordinate with technical teams to support client pursuits and satisfaction efforts.
•Develop and maintain records in CRM software and shared calendars for meetings, follow-ups, and strategy.
•Support teaming strategies, proposal development, and partner collaboration.
•Promote awareness of the company’s full range of services and capabilities.
•Schedule and support speaking engagements and capability briefings.
•Collaborate with marketing on materials and presentations tailored to client needs.
•Travel to company field offices and client locations (up to 50%).
Job Requirements:
•4-year college degree required.
•3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship management (preferably within the A/E/C industry).
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software is a plus.
•Ability to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including during events.
•Must be authorized to work in the United States.
•Pre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver’s license required.
