Job Summary:
You will assist with engineering, investigation, and remediation projects. Your work will primarily involve supporting groundwater remediation system projects for petroleum hydrocarbons, which include assisting with client relations and project management. Additional responsibilities may include soil remediation design, implementation, and reporting; and technical/business development/marketing needs. The position requires working outdoors at petroleum refineries and other petroleum or industrial sites, and up travel to project locations.
This full-time position requires approximately 40 to 45 hours per week and involves a blend of field/office work, project management, multiple stakeholder communication, and problem solving. If you thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
- Support groundwater remediation system improvement projects, including task coordination, documentation, and design.
- Support soil and groundwater remediation system improvement projects, including task coordination, documentation, and design.
- Assist with client relations and project management.
- Perform soil remediation design, implementation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Assist with technical/business development/marketing.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, with preference for civil/environmental focus.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- California professional engineer (PE) registration (or working toward achieving licensure).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
