AP Accountant

Sofia, Bulgaria

Job Summary:

As AP Accountant, you will join our Finance team! In this role, you will report to AP Team Leader and will have the opportunity to work closely with the GL Accountants and Finance Management.. Join us to drive the right power forward and make clean energy the natural choice for all!

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely and accurate booking of Accounts Payable invoices in SAP

- Verify proper coding of AP invoices in accordance with company policies

- Prepare and review payment proposals to ensure timely vendor payments

- Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on schedule

- Reconcile GR/IR accounts and vendor statements to maintain accurate financial records

- Manage the AP monthly cut-off process to ensure proper period-end reporting

- Monitor Accounts Payable aging reports and provide detailed explanations as needed

- Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries

- Support General Ledger accounting and Finance Management during the monthly close process

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in preparing required supporting documentation

- Generate ad-hoc reports and perform analyses as requested by Corporate, Treasury, or Tax departments

Qualifications and Skills:

Your profile is a natural match if you have:

- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business

- 1 to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (considered an advantage)

- Fluency in English, with other language skills seen as a plus

- Proven experience using SAP (considered an advantage)

- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general data processing tools

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
