Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid grasp of financial concepts to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

- Conduct bank reconciliations.

- Prepare financial reports for management review, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.

- Assist in budgeting processes and provide analysis on variances between budgeted and actual figures.

- Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and support.

- Stay updated on tax regulations and assist in tax preparation as needed.

Skills

- Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices.

- Knowledge of GAAP standards and financial concepts is critical for this role.

- Experience with double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing is highly desirable.

- Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

- Familiarity with technical accounting aspects including debits & credits, journal entries, bookkeeping.

- Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry tasks.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
