Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Clerk

to work out of our

office (hybrid option available).

The AP Clerk will ensure that the company's bills are paid on time and that the company is not overcharged for any service. They will complete payments and control expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

Essential Duties

- Process invoices from multiple vendors by routing electronically as necessary for appropriate approval and reconcile against purchase orders.

- Pay vendors by scheduling and preparing weekly check/ACH payment batches, Initiate wire payments as necessary.

- Audit employee expense reports for compliance with company policies; process weekly ACH reimbursement payment batches

- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions; ensure refund is received for outstanding memos.

- Maintain historical records by filing documents.

- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Additional related duties as needed and / or assigned.

Education and Required Experience

- 1-3 years Accounts Payable experience.

- High School Diploma or GED.

- Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Self-motivated with a high degree of problem solving and critical thinking skills.

- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.

- Reliable and professional attitude.

- Experience with ERP / Financial systems (preferably Oracle).

- Strong knowledge of Excel and 10 key.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

The majority of this work takes place in an office and the work environment is that of a typical office environment in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are usually moderate. Frequently the employee will interact with personnel in the plant where he/she may be exposed to higher noise levels.
