Accounting Clerk – Accounts Payable (AP)

Bondhus Corporation, a worldwide leader in the hand tool industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work in our Finance Department at the Monticello, MN facility.

As a member of the team, you can expect:

· ABOVE AVERAGE PAY! – Starting from $22.00 - $28.00/hour, depending on experience

· Day shift schedule – Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Job details include:

· Process invoices, Vcard payments & check requests

· Schedule weekly check runs to meet discount deadlines

· Review/code invoices for accuracy including GL, sales tax, 1099 applicability, signatures & supporting documents

· Review vendor statements & follow-up as needed

· Maintain vendor master files

· Generate & file tax documents including 1099’s & other tax filings

· Act as backup to Accounts Receivable

· Support inventory activities like cycle counts & reconciliations

Requirements:

· Technical or AA degree desired plus 5 years’ experience or equivalent

· Familiarity with accounting principles, debits & credits, account reconciliation

· Computer experience: MS Office including Outlook, ERP system, online Bank experience as a 3rd party payer

· Manufacturing experience a plus

· Excellent organization skills & attention to detail

· Prioritizing skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Must pass a criminal background check & a non-marijuana drug screen

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
