Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient 3D CAD Modeler to create accurate, dimensioned, and material-specific models that align with engineered designs and project documentation. This role is critical to ensuring our fabrication processes are efficient, precise, and compliant with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop detailed 3D models using Tekla, SDS2, or Advanced Steel.

· Interpret and apply project documents, engineered drawings, and specifications.

· Ensure models meet dimensional accuracy and material requirements.

· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams.

· Maintain organized documentation and version control of models.

· Identify and resolve design inconsistencies or issues proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of experience with Tekla, SDS2, or Advanced Steel.

· Strong background in construction or metal fabrication.

· Excellent spatial reasoning and mathematical aptitude.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Team-oriented mindset with a goal-driven and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Familiarity with fabrication shop workflows and standards.

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
