Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. - Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts accurately.
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and adherence to specifications.
- Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for material handling and assembly tasks on the production floor or construction sites.
- Fabricate components by cutting, bending, welding, soldering, and assembling according to schematics and ASME codes & standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to welding, rigging, machining, and construction site procedures.
- Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities with a focus on welding and fabrication tasks.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, calipers, micrometers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with crane operation, rigging procedures including forklift handling for material movement.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to mechanical systems or manufacturing processes.
