Waterjet Operator-2nd Shift

Job Title: Waterjet Operator

Department: Waterjet

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Summary: Operate the waterjet and shear to produce sheet metal parts per operation sketches.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Must be able to set up and operate waterjet equipment with provided programs.

· Must be able to adjust machine offsets accordingly to produce conforming parts.

· Verify all parts are conforming per operation sketch and quantity of parts produced.

· Debur parts as required.

· Maintain and repair the equipment as needed.

· Ability to drive a fork truck and operate an overhead crane.

· Keep a clean and safe work area.

· Understands and follows Standard Manufacturing Guidelines.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of measuring techniques with hand tools.

· Blueprint reading, and basic math.

· Focus on Quality.

· Self-management with a teamwork state of mind.

· Basic computer knowledge.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Previous manufacturing experience.

· Experience with Waterjet, CNC machines or trade school is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
