Job Function/Purpose-

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Group Leader, the incumbent will perform several operations such as Waterjet cutting, ultrasonic testing, scrap recycling while maintaining quality of product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operates and maintains the Water Jet Cutter and associated support systems.

- Operates and maintains the Ultrasonic Test tank and associated support systems.

- Supports operations in Mill Products and Fabrication as required.

- Maintains all required logs associated with the WJC/UT.

- Performs minor equipment repair and adjustments.

- Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires high school or vocational degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Metal working experience is preferred.

- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of decimals, fractions, and measuring equipment is essential.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
