JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouseman 0-6 Months

Union $28.64 Per Hour

DEPARTMENT: WAREHOUSE

DUTIES: Under the general directive supervision of assigned supervisor.

A warehouseman with 00 to 06 months experience.

Performs duties as assigned doing general warehouse work. These include housekeeping of the warehouse, dock areas, RO, and the outside storage areas. May help in stocking of racks and bins, also staging of material or items.

Must learn the duties related to the RO operation, including the sorting of material for restock and salvage. Must attend instruction on the MMS (Material Management System), and learn to use the system for related assigned duties.

Performs all duties in a safe manner and conforms with safety rules established by the Company. Receives instruction in safety procedures, practices, and first aid. Must abide and support safety rules and regulations as presented in the accident prevention manual.

Must learn how to operate forklifts, and pass the Company Certification Program. Must have and maintain a current valid New Mexico driver¿s license.

Heavy lifting is required for warehouse work. Work with the public will be required during duties at the RO area.

Transport and delivers requested material or items to service areas on assignment.

Performs other related and assigned duties.
