Warehouseman

Position Summary

Totten Tubes, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-driven Warehouseman to join our Cedar City team. This position plays a critical role in the safe handling, processing, and movement of steel products within our facility.

The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment while supporting daily warehouse operations and customer orders.

Essential Job Functions

General Warehouse Duties

- Stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)

- Load and unload trucks daily

- Manually lift, move, and stack steel pieces (up to 50 lbs)

- Use cranes and forklifts to move material throughout the warehouse

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Equipment Operation

- Overhead Crane Operation

- Safely lift, move, and position steel using an overhead crane. Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits.

- Band Saw Operation

- Set up and operate band saws to cut metal stock. Follow work orders for specifications, measure and inspect cuts, and maintain equipment as needed.

- Forklift Operation

- Operate forklifts to move, locate, and pull orders. Must be forklift certified and adhere to all safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Familiarity with strapping/banding equipment

- Safe and efficient operation of warehouse and laser machinery

- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Experience:

- 1–2 years of warehouse experience

- Background in steel or metal fabrication

Compensation

- $ 22.00-$25.00

Experience:

- Strapping & Banding: 1 year (Required)

- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

- Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
