We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations at Solar Liberty’s Buffalo facility. The ideal candidate will assist with material handling, inventory organization, shipping and receiving, and field crew coordination. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and supports multiple departments to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Pick, stage, and load materials for job sites based on project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Track and record inventory levels using warehouse management systems and digital tools.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and verifying deliveries against purchase orders.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Coordinate with field crews to prepare and distribute materials for installations.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with material requests, stock replenishment, and workflow improvements.
- Assist with basic organization and readiness of company vehicles used for field operations.
- Occasionally drive company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver or retrieve materials as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
- Perform general facility maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (company provided).
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
