Members of the ReVision Energy Warehouse Team have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about a wide variety of renewable energy products while doing their part to contribute to the solutions of climate change. We are looking for a candidate with experience in inventory management and procurement processes and is ready to grow as part of a focused and hardworking team. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable working independently, and have the ability to switch gears as needed throughout their shift. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is critical to succeed in this role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory systems and is looking for experience in renewable energy!
- Ultimately responsible for maintaining base inventory numbers for all commonly used stock
- Communicate PO requests to procurement
- Monitor and adjust base inventory numbers as needed
- Monitor and adjust quantities as needed
- Work with procurement and warehouse management to ID stock locations and warehouse layouts
- Execute E-fill request to our vendors
- Work with warehouse team to keep inventory shelves organized and labeled
- Assist with End of Month Inventory
- Receive shipments (unload by hand, pallet jack, or forklift)
- Notify relevant parties that their shipment has arrived and store it for them until it is needed
- Keep Purchasing Manager informed on received shipments, as well as communication with accounting about receiving notes.
- Put away received items in appropriate places
- Maintain and improve upon current organization and efficiency facility wide; to maintain homes for received items
- Receive stock systematically through our inventory software
- Gather and ship all inter branch material transfers
- Setting up shipments with freight carriers when necessary
- Return misshaped items from vendors
- Work with Warehouse and Operations team to ensure installation teams have the required materials and tools while also ensuring maximum inventory oversight to prevent overstocking
- Monitor, maintain and track inventory usage. Manage lead times to ensure no disruption to work flow
- Ensure acquisition of last minute purchase requests in a timely manner
- Request, review and evaluate vendor quotes to provide the company with strategic savings / work with company wide purchasing to identify
- Vendors and request quotes for materials
- Help prepare upcoming PV and ASHP materials for truck load out
- Assist in job site deliveries to installation crews
- Assist with small solar/HVAC component prefabrication
- Organization and removal of pallets and scrap wood
- General receiving and stocking of inventory
- High level of focus on safety is required
- High level of comfort with hand and power tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Excel and Teams, as well as other commonly used software and applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work self-guided and independently in a fast-paced and growing environment with flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Clean and valid driving record
- Experience driving box trucks, and trucks with trailers is a plus
- Experience operating equipment such as forklift, skid steer, and/or Lull is preferred
- Must bring a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in renewable energy
