We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Edmonton, Alberta location for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing the daily workload, making sure pertinent orders are completed in a timely matter (including cutting and picking of sales orders), noting any discrepancies and advising the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor and helping in maintaining a clean, safe and organized environment.

What Your Day May Look Like:

- Ensure orders are correctly picked and cut.

- Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.

- Adhere to final inspection and shipping procedures.

- Follow all safety regulations and report unsafe situations to Manager or Supervisor

- Participate in inventory preparation and completion of company inventory counts.

- Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

- Two (2) years broad warehouse/distribution experience or a combination of education and experience.

- Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.

- Ability to load and unload materials.

- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, bend, squat and stand.

- Ability to manage an inventory system.

- Must be able to operate a forklift.

- Be aware of your surroundings including mental, physical, visual and environment conditions.
