Bulk Plant & Warehouse Associate

Location: Bloomington, CA

About the Role

World Kinect is looking for a dependable, team‑oriented Bulk Plant & Warehouse Associate to help keep our Newark, CA location running smoothly. If you enjoy hands‑on work, staying active during the day, and being part of a team that values safety and reliability, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse and plant operations, help organize materials, and assist our customers and vendors. You’ll work closely with the Bulk Plant Manager/Supervisor and have opportunities to learn, cross‑train, and grow your skills within a stable, well‑established company.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse & Plant Operations

- Help with daily plant and warehouse tasks in a professional, team‑focused environment

- Pull, stage, and organize packaged products for delivery

- Keep the warehouse clean, stocked, and well‑organized

- Answer phone calls and assist customers or internal teams

- Use equipment safely and efficiently

Safety & Compliance

- Support and follow all company safety policies

- Help ensure the site meets city, county, and state regulations

- Coordinate monthly tank testing with our Environmental team

- Report any safety concerns right away

Equipment & Light Maintenance

- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment

- Perform basic maintenance when needed

- Learn and maintain knowledge of Bulk Plant equipment and lube/oil product lines

Teamwork & Communication

- Work closely with teammates across departments

- Cross‑train and support others when needed

- Represent the company in a positive, professional manner

- Follow all company policies and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications

- Ability to perform the essential job duties (with reasonable accommodations if needed)

- Strong communication skills and a positive, service‑focused attitude

- Commitment to safety and following procedures

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent

- At least 2 years of related experience

- Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome

Computer Skills

- Basic computer and email skills

- Ability to complete simple data entry and file tasks

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on role. You should be comfortable with:

- Standing and walking for most of the shift

- Occasionally sitting, climbing, reaching, kneeling, or bending

- Regularly lifting up to 10 lbs, frequently lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs

- Using proper equipment to move items up to 400 lbs
