We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Operations Technician to support our electrical business. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical background who enjoys a mix of warehouse operations, logistics, and facility support. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping projects running efficiently through organized inventory, accurate shipping/receiving, and general building and equipment upkeep.
Flexible schedule within operating hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including providing vacation and break coverage for the administrative team. Minimum of 20 hours per week with the potential of increased hours depending on project, company needs within this role.
- Receive, verify, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for job sites
- Coordinate stock replenishment and basic purchasing of materials
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments – Forklift certification required
- Act as the primary on-site contact for tenants, addressing maintenance requests and coordinating solutions
- Perform general building maintenance, minor repairs, and hands-on troubleshooting
- Identify issues proactively and coordinate with external trades and contractors when required
- Communicate effectively with tenants, ownership, and contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Maintain and coordinate upkeep of shop tools, equipment, and shared workspaces
- Ensure building systems and operations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Electrical background (apprenticeship or field experience preferred)
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting, loading, moving materials)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
