VP of Technical Services

Leadership, Policy & Strategy

- Develop Technical Services related policies and execute strategy aligned with corporate goals, customer requirements and industry standards.

- Lead and mentor diverse teams in engineering, quality, and compliance across multiple global locations.

- Partner with executive leadership to support business development, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance operational performance.

Sales Engineering & Application Engineering

- Oversee engineering design reviews, product development, and technical support for new and existing products.

- Drive value analysis/value engineering VA/VE initiatives with customers to optimize product performance, reduce cost, and enhance manufacturability.

- Support customer-specific engineering solutions and technical presentations.

- Work closely with the sales team to identify and advance opportunities for engineered products.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Maintain and improve quality management system, inspection processes, audits, and certifications.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards including ISO9001, AS9100/9120 and customer-specific requirements.

- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee environmental reporting and ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals…).

- Implement sustainability initiatives and monitor environmental impact across operations.

- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and customers on environmental documentation and disclosures.

- Ensure environmental compliance with industry standards such as ISO14001.

Global Team Management & Travel

- Manage and coordinate technical services teams across all global sites including expenses.

- Foster collaboration and consistency in engineering and quality practices worldwide.

- Travel as needed within North America and internationally to support operations, customer engagements, audits, and strategic initiatives.

Customer & Industry Engagement

- Serve as the primary technical liaison with key customers, government agencies, and industry partners.

- Represent the company in technical forums, trade associations, and standards committees.

- Support contract reviews, technical proposals, and customer audits.
