Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Trimmer I in Lampasas, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY: Removes flash and excess material from parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Remove flash and excess material from mold parting lines and product ID.

- Record count of parts for production record.

- Record elapsed work time on production record.

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Entry level.

- Basic verbal and written communication skills required.

- Ability to follow safe work practices and instructions including care with sharp cutting tools.

- Familiar with hand tools such as snips, small knives, scissors, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Moderate physical effort required

- Prolonged sitting

- Regularly required to use hands.

- Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees.

- Lifting, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds.
