Job Overview
We are seeking a part time IT Support to service our client in their corporate office in Irvine. Must come to office Monday to Friday. This individual will be part of a team that responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Main duties include troubleshoot issues, assist users with their IT needs, and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a background in IT/computer support and a passion for helping others resolve their technical challenges. Ability to demonstrate good Communication skill is very important.
- Provide first-level support for IT-related issues via help desk ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems.
- Assist users with VPN connectivity issues and ensure secure remote access.
- Maintain and support computer networking components to ensure optimal performance.
- Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system to improve knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance IT infrastructure efficiency.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on hardware and software systems.
- Educate users on best practices for technology use and security protocols.
- Computer degree/Certification/Experience
- College student majoring in computer related subject
- Knowledge & experience in IT support
- Good communication skills & personality
- Able to commit to a set schedule. Monday to Friday, morning or afternoon shifts, or full time.
