Description
Facilitates all Information Technology Group operations across the Company’s service area, focusing on administering ERP Systems. Responsibilities include data processing, file manipulation, document creation, and output processing, encompassing the following responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Ensures the reliable performance of the ERP system (Stratix).
- Troubleshoots and resolves any ERP-related hardware, software, user access or other problems.
- Participates in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test and implement ERP systems and applications.
- Monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability.
- Coordinates new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users.
- Recommends new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback.
- Arrange project requirements in sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and logic.
- Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
- Maintains historical records by documenting system development and revisions.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assists IT Director with Disaster Recovery design, testing and implementation.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completion of a one-year certificate program from a college or technical school; or
One to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in ERP System Administration.
- Skills with proficiency in General ERP Administration
- Strong analytical skills for information processing

- Experience in system testing

Working Conditions
The primary work site is in the office. The office is accessible from the parking lot. There are stairs to the office where the IT space is located.
There is also work in the plant. The plant is on one level, accessible directly from the parking lot and from the office. There are seasonal variations in temperatures from 60 to 95+ degrees; some exposure to diesel fumes as trucks move through the plant; noise level varies depending on number of machines in operation. Potential hazards include cuts and crush injuries. Occasional travel is required.
Supervision And Co-workers/Attendance Requirements
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
