The Tax Compliance Manager – US International will be a key member of the global tax team, with primary responsibility for US international tax compliance and related reporting. This role will lead assigned portions of the preparation and review of the company’s US international income tax return in accordance with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements. The position will work closely with Tax Accounting and FP&A teams to ensure accurate reporting of US tax provisions and deferred taxes in quarterly and year-end financial statements. In addition to compliance responsibilities, the role will support international and domestic tax planning initiatives, including evaluating risk, modeling strategic alternatives, and analyzing foreign tax credit scenarios. The manager will document technical positions, prepare supporting files for tax returns and financial statements, and assist in building robust documentation for tax controversy matters.
- Lead assigned portions of and participate in preparation and review of the company’s US International income tax return. Provide support to the Tax Accounting and FP&A teams to ensure the US tax provisions and deferred taxes are accurately reported in the quarterly and year-end financial statements.
- Lead assigned portions of international and domestic tax planning projects. Handle evaluation of risk and counsel the business on various complicated tax matters. Analyze and identify opportunities by modeling strategic alternatives including economic analysis and foreign tax credit scenario analysis. Document positions taken and prepare legal tax opinions to support technical positions taken in the Company’s tax return and financial statements. Build world-class files to support the tax compliance and tax controversy teams.
- Work closely with tax teams in international locations on tax planning in local jurisdictions and proactively drive team(s) to optimal business decisions and communicate the decisions within a global team.
- Monitor and document tax law changes in the U.S. and global geographies, including proposed legislation, cases, regulations, rulings and other regulatory pronouncements.

- Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting, Tax, or Law; MBA, MBT, JD, or LLM preferred
- 5+ years of experience at a major public accounting firm and/or tax department of a multinational corporation- Demonstrated understanding of US International Income Taxation
- Must have experience with project and resource management, contingency analyses, and detailed electronic research
- Affinity for technical tax
- CPA preferred
