Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Professional, also known as our Sustainability Sales, who is excited about World Energy’s value proposition and is ready to be part of the best ESCO team in the region. A strategic, critical thinker and master of sales, the Sustainability Sales Rep will drive World Energy’s growth through targeted direct sales.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can tap into their Northeast market expertise and engage key partners. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

The position may require travel throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island to visit customers, conduct on-site assessments, and propose projects via a consultative sales process to close deals. Ideally, this position will have a narrower geographic focus, but flexibility is inherent to the position.

Position has a base salary determined by related and relevant experience plus a lucrative and uncapped commission plan.


Key Responsibilities:

- Product Offering: Develop a solid understanding of World Energy Service’s product offering portfolio.

- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their sustainability needs and goals.

- Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell sustainable energy solutions.

- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

- Proposal Development: Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and presentations to clients, outlining the benefits and ROI of our sustainable energy solutions.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including project development, project administration, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of services.

- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

- Networking: Represent World Energy Services at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance our market presence.

- Customer Support: Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.


Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field, is a plus, but not required.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or sustainability sector.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainable energy solutions, renewable energy technologies, and the energy market.

- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and sales data to drive decision-making.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online sales platforms.

- Passion for Sustainability: Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and a deep understanding of environmental issues and sustainable practices.

- Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.


Experience:

- Proven track record of successful sales performance in the energy or sustainability sector.

- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects in various stages.

- Strong network within the renewable energy industry is highly desirable.

- Experience working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position has a base salary determined by related and relevant experience plus a lucrative uncapped commission plan. A qualified and driven candidate can earn:


Realistic salary expectations include:

· Up to $80,000 – 90,000 in total compensation in their first full year.

· Up to $100,000 in total compensation in their second full year.

· Up to $150,000 in total compensation in their third full year.

With the lucrative uncapped commission plan, your earning potential is limitless.
