About This Job


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

- Conduct face-to-face meetings and compelling sales presentations to prospective customers, demonstrating how GFL’s products and services can meet their needs.

- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and repeat clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with the Inside Sales and support teams to streamline processes and share best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:


Technical Skills:

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM software.


Behavioral Competencies:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high comfort level for initiating conversations and executive-level interactions.

- Customer service skills, a strong drive for results, and a genuine interest in a sales career.


Requirements:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

- Impeccable customer service skills, a strong drive for results, and a genuine interest in a sales career.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high comfort level for initiating conversations and executive-level interactions.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively within a territory.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM software.

- Valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record is required for territory coverage.

- New and repeat clients, customers


Physical Demands:

- Physical activity of walking , lifting up to 25lbs


Working Conditions & Travel:

- Field based 80% percent of time

- Travel through region 80% percent of time, conduct face-to-face meetings and compelling sales presentations to prospective customers, demonstrating how GFL’s products and services can meet their needs.

- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and repeat clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
