Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Title Abstractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain meticulous attention to detail, have experience indexing real estate title, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive title searches to identify property ownership, liens, and encumbrances.

- Prepare detailed title abstracts summarizing findings from public records and legal documents.

- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and analyzing property data.

- Maintain organized records of all research conducted and documents processed.

Qualifications

- Familiarity with title research and the ability to interpret legal documents.

- Ability to plot metes and bounds legal descriptions

- Strong understanding of real estate law and regulations.

- Excellent research skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $325.00 per day
