Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects from inception to completion for our Structural and Miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection company. Our team is compromised from a family owned management team, with a relaxed and driven work culture, staffed with motivated, skilled , and knowledgeable team members. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. This role requires excellent communication skills with both internal and external parties, the ability to manage risks and budgets effectively, and a commitment to fostering collaboration among team members and our customers.

Responsibilities

- Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

- Develop comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals and ensure successful execution.

- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Procore and Tekla to track progress and facilitate communication.

- Analyze requirements and design programs that meet client needs while adhering to best practices outlined in AISC/AWS (Shop not AISC Certified).

- Supervise team members, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor project performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.

- Prepare regular status reports for management, ensuring transparency throughout the project.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in managing complex projects.

- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices.

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Tekla EPM, Teams , Microsoft Office, Procore.

- Experience in requirements analysis and program design is highly desirable.

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.

- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
