Summary
TheSupervisor–Operationspositionwilloverseealloperationsincludingpipelineoperations,mechanical maintenance, and environmental within their area while ensuring we uphold a successful safety record. ThispositionwilladheretoallPartnershippoliciesandproceduresandoperatewithinitsbudget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is in Portland and is a key component in insuring that assets are maintained safely.
EssentialDuties& Responsibilities
- Supervises day-to-day facility operations to meet required production rates and monitors operating data to minimize problems and downtime.
- Ensure that established regulatory environmental and safety standards are maintained.Supervisesallemergencyresponseactivitiesanddecisions relatedtothesafetyof the plant and the surrounding area.
- Supervises subordinates in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner. Administers performance reviews for subordinates and administers disciplinary action when warranted.Ensurealldepartmentalmanualsarekept current.
- Development and administers training courses pertinent to Operations to ensure personnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Ensure operating parameters are within the limits of the design of the equipment.
- Participates in FRRC/DOT and PHMSA audits as well as maintains all required operational documentation to stay within compliance.

- High school degree or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ industry experience required for this position.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient use with Microsoft Office software products.
Working Conditions
Theworkenvironmentcharacteristicsdescribedherearerepresentativeofthoseanemployee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
