The staffing manager is responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide recruiting processes and procedures, overseeing day-to-day hiring and recruiting for the West Jordan, Utah location, and providing recruiting-related support for HR team members at other locations. This position supports the hiring process from development of recruitment strategies, managing job postings, sourcing candidates, and managing the selection, onboarding, and retention of employees to meet organizational needs.

- Support hiring managers in the hiring process including filing and approval of job requests, job descriptions, and recruiting strategies and candidate sourcing.
- Manage Job Postings, forward applications and resumes to hiring managers, and coordinate interviews. Manage weld-test interview scheduling and coordination, including English and Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Coordinate with staffing agencies regarding placement and sourcing of temporary staffing placements, and work with recruiting agencies for candidate sourcing on select positions.
- Manage access, postings, and billing for Indeed, Linkedin, and other external job posting platforms.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding application status and hiring updates.
- Prepare offer letters and oversee pre-employment processes including drug and background screenings, tech requests, and new employee HRIS setup.
- Conduct HR New Employee Orientation sessions and assist with new employee onboarding including required forms, I9 employment verification, W4 and direct deposit setup. Assist hiring managers and departments with coordinating new hire trainings and onboarding.
- Lead staffing meetings with HR and operations team, track progress on job openings, and prepare staffing reports and analytics.
- Review recruiting and retention strategies, identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Support company and department leadership with succession planning and backfill for internal promotions and transfers.
- Support broader company and HR team projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty daily.
- 3+ years of experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, HR Generalist role or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with English and Spanish Languages.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and ensuring only the appropriate parties have access to certain sensitive data sets pertinent to their role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
