Job Description

The office manager is responsible for supporting EMJD’s general manager and vice president in all aspects of sales, marketing, human resources, production, and facility management. The role reports to the vice president.

Responsibilities

- Answer the phones and welcome visitors

- Manage vacation time and payroll administrative tasks

- Enter purchase orders and create travelers

- Support finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end reconciliation

- Update company dashboards and sales tracking spreadsheets

- Partner with foreman and the production team to organize and plan the production schedule

- Support shop organization and cleaning efforts

- Lead special projects as needed

- Produce customer quotes, including interacting with customers to refine and finalize quotes

- Liaise between customers and the production team to communicate job and delivery status

- Liaise between the engineering team and customers in producing customer quotes

Qualifications

- Hard-working and humble personality

- Ability to work under pressure

- Commitment to solving problems and finding solutions

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for eight hours per day

- Ability to pass a drug test and commit to a drug and substance-free environment

- 3+ years of office management experience

Salary and Benefits

- Compensation dependent on experience, ranging from $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, plus possible overtime and possible quarterly profit-sharing bonuses

- Benefits: health care, 401k match up to 6% of wages (after six months), paid holidays and paid vacation time

- Hours: Full-time, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
