The Senior Project Lead Scheduler for this position will take the lead role in the development and maintenance of a complex, resource loaded and Earned Value Compliant Integrated Master Schedule. As the Lead Program Scheduler, you will be responsible for the successful development, planning, coordinating and management of the Program IMS and timely submission of Monthly CDRLs in accordance with Monthly Business Rhythm deadlines. You will serve as the Primary point of contact between the Program Manager, Program Management Office/Program Controls Section and the Control Account Managers (CAM’s). This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years technical expertise as a Program Scheduler utilizing Microsoft Project. Expert communication skills and an ability to interface with many different internal and external organizations are highly desired.
Bachelor’s degree in a related or technical field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in defense, government, and/or engineering design projects.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Project as a Program Scheduler
Ability to create and maintain a fully resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule in accordance with best practices, company policies, and contractual requirements
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communications skills with the ability to successfully interact with internal and external customers as well as co-workers at every level.
Extensive understanding of Scheduling best practices including but not limited to:
Ability to analyze project resource plan against current availability and capacity and recommend to the Project Manager on leveling options and over allocations.
Ability to obtain and maintain at least a Secret Clearance or higher.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,100 - $141,100
Develop and maintain a complex, multi-phased, resource-loaded Program Integrated Master Schedule(s) (IMS) that adheres to all Statement of Work and contract reporting requirements.
Conduct Schedule trend analysis and report data, e.g. late start/finish, forecast dates impacts, manage program Schedule margin, and changes to critical path(s).
Utilize DCMA 14-Point Health Assessments, DECM Audits, Scheduling software such as SSI Tools, forProject and other Earned Value Management software, among other project management techniques to gauge
Provide schedules visibility, reporting, and schedule analyses, assist in risk analyses and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
Familiarity with Deltek Acumen Schedule Risk Assessment is not required but desired.
Ability to create and maintain Program-Level Tier 1 Summary Schedules and additional Program Schedule data slides as required
Works directly with CAMs to identify internal and external dependencies, milestones and deliverables.
