- Develop, implement, and maintain training programs for production operators, technicians, and team leaders to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Create and update training materials, including SOPs, work instructions, presentations, skill matrices, and on-the-job training (OJT) guides.
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding training for new hires, ensuring timely qualification for assigned positions.
- Support cross-training and multi-skill development to improve workforce flexibility and production stability.
- Track training records, certifications, and qualification status to ensure compliance with internal requirements and audits.
- Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Equipment, and EHS teams to align training content with current processes and standards.
- Identify training gaps based on production issues, quality defects, or process changes, and propose targeted training solutions.
- Support training activities during new line launches, process changes, and ramp-up phases.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by integrating training with Lean, 5S, and standard work practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Education, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing training, production support, or engineering-related roles (experience in high-volume manufacturing is a plus).
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, SOPs, and shop-floor operations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and coach employees at different levels.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with training documentation, skill matrices, or learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Experience supporting operator certification or qualification systems
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or standard work implementation
- Experience developing bilingual training materials (English/Spanish or English/Chinese is a plus)
- Experience supporting audits or customer visits related to training compliance
