Social Media Marketing Intern

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

- Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and written posts aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.

- Monitor social listening tools to gather insights on audience engagement and brand reputation.

- Manage scheduling and publishing of posts using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.

- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO purposes.

- Support in analyzing web and social media analytics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance.

- Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives and public relations activities.

- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.

- Assist with photography and video editing projects to enhance visual content.

- Engage with followers to foster relationships and manage community interactions effectively.

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.

- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

- Understanding of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and web analytics tools.

- Skills in graphic design, video editing, photography, and content creation are highly desirable.

- Knowledge of social listening platforms and public relations principles is a plus.

- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new digital marketing techniques.
