Reports To: Director of Public Relations & Marketing
The Communication & Marketing Intern supports the organization’s internal and external communication efforts through content creation, social media support, visual design assistance, and project coordination. This position provides hands-on experience in marketing, communications, branding, and public relations while contributing to meaningful projects that support employees, members, and the community.

- Assist with creating content for social media, website updates, newsletters, and internal communications
- Support marketing campaigns, community outreach efforts, and special projects
- Draft and edit written content such as announcements, posts, flyers, and short articles
- Assist with basic graphic design projects using tools such as Canva or Adobe products
- Help manage and organize photo and video content for marketing use
- Monitor social media engagement and assist with reporting metrics and trends
- Support event planning and promotional activities, including preparation of materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications
- Perform general administrative and project support duties as assigned
- Exposure to real-world marketing and communication strategies

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
