Job Title: Shop Facilities Maintenance Labourer
Location: Kamloops, BC
Base Rate: $35.00 per hour
OT: 1.5x after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely perform labourer duties, including the use of hand tools, while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assisting skilled trades workers with equipment and task preparation, ensuring smooth operations.
- Conducting a thorough general cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborating with the team, assisting with various tasks, and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Washing equipment to ensure vehicles and equipment are clean and maintained.
- Completing proper lockout procedures while working with machinery.
- Complete assigned duties as instructed and required.
- Perform minor repairs, calibrations, and services for shop facilities equipment.
- Support shop equipment and tooling management.
- Assist with bulk lubrication management and system servicing/repairs.
- Support maintenance/repair of shop equipment, including hose reels, pressure washers, and lifting/rigging equipment.
- Previous experience in the mining, oil & gas, or construction industry with a familiarity with heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Being comfortable operating machinery such as skid steers, forklifts and telehandlers will be considered an asset.
- Mechanically inclined is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills are required.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated organizational capabilities and an ability to maintain orderly workspaces.
- A commitment to following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must be willing to work over stats if they fall on your rotation.
- Must be fit for duty and in alignment with Company and Site Drug & Alcohol policies.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory.
- A clean driver's abstract must be provided.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- This safety-sensitive role requires adherence to drug and alcohol policies and always maintaining fitness for duty.
