Shipping & Receiving

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping & Receiving candidate to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for handling all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy in receiving and shipping processes, maintaining inventory, and coordinating transportation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Shipping/Receiving II experience.

What You’ll Do:

- Perform receipt inspections and verify the accuracy of received goods and customer parts

- Mark containers or pallets with appropriate tags identifying parts with the customer’s purchase order (P.O.)

- Communicate discrepancies in customer parts or paperwork to the Supervisor or Shipping Manager

- Completing daily receiving entries in the computer system and distributing this information to Purchasing department

- Inventorying and ordering necessary Shipping & Receiving supplies

- Coordinating with Drivers for shipment of Customer orders and/or arranging additional transportation services as needed

- Ensuring, upon examination, that completed work meets customer’s specifications, including quantity

- Perform quality inspections and inventory of finished Customer order prior to packaging and report any discrepancies, defective materials, or conditions found

- Managing all outbound shipments

- Willingness to train new personnel and assist with work process questions or problems

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Willingness and ability to work weekends, as needed

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-5:00pm, weekends as needed

Compensation: Depending on experience

This position is located in Southeast Houston, 77087.

Bilingual a plus! (English/Spanish)
