Positions Supervised: Senior FP&A Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior FP&A Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage financial planning and analysis activities for the company, with a particular focus on enterprise-wide forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), partner closely with operations and corporate leadership to deliver accurate and insightful financial forecasts, and drive the annual budgeting process across business units and at the corporate level. The Senior FP&A Manager will prepare and present monthly forecasts, financial guidance, and strategic analysis to executives, the Board, and external banking partners, while managing and developing a team of FP&A analysts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
Oracle Fusion EPM, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion EPM, ensuring alignment with company budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain driver-based forecasting models and multi-year financial plans within Oracle Fusion EPM, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
- Own the monthly and quarterly forecasting process (revenues, EBITDA, cash flow, and capital expenditures), working cross-functionally with business unit leaders and corporate departments.
- Develop standardized budgeting and forecasting templates, reports, and dashboards in Oracle Fusion EPM to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data and reporting within Oracle Fusion EPM and related financial systems.
- Lead the monthly financial forecast cycle, including variance analysis versus budget, prior year, and prior forecast; identify key drivers and risks/opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly forecast packages for executive leadership, including commentary, KPIs, and scenario analyses.
- Present monthly and quarterly performance, forecasts, and key insights to executive management and other senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Develop and present financial analysis and strategic recommendations to shareholders, governing committees, executive management, and third parties as needed.
- Organize and lead the annual corporate budgeting process, coordinating timelines, assumptions, and deliverables across G&A, capex, and operating expenses at both the business unit and corporate levels.
- Partner with department and business unit leaders to build, challenge, and refine G&A, operating expense, and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial targets.
- Manage consolidated corporate budget models, including full three-statement financials and related KPIs, and reconcile budget assumptions across functions.
- Lead post-budget review and reforecasting activities, ensuring ongoing alignment to evolving business conditions.
- Initiate and implement process improvements that streamline the budgeting and planning cycle and enhance forecast accuracy.
Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) and Guidance to Stakeholders
- Calculate, maintain, and monitor the Company’s Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), including translating corporate and business unit performance into payout outcomes.
- Partner with HR and executive leadership to ensure AIP metrics, targets, and calculations are clearly defined, documented, and communicated.
- Track AIP performance versus targets throughout the year, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to expected payouts.
- Prepare revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and capital expenditure guidance for executives and external banking partners, including supporting analysis and scenario modeling.
Financial Guidance, Strategic Analysis, and External Stakeholders
- Compile a variety of financial analyses such as valuation, buy vs. lease, payback, NPV, IRR, M&A scenarios, and operational three-statement models.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to measure the impact of operational scenarios on capital requirements, loan covenants, and KPIs, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
- Assist with the compliance of all bank covenants and loan agreements, including monitoring, reporting, and communication with lenders.
- Prepare high-quality executive and Board presentations (e.g., monthly business reviews, quarterly Board decks, financing updates) that clearly communicate financial results, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
- Synthesize complex financial data and analytical findings into concise narratives, visuals, and recommendations tailored for executive leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Finance and other leaders to ensure consistency across all materials presented to executives, board, and capital providers.
- Oversee and manage short-term and long-term cash flows, including preparation and maintenance of cash forecasting schedules/models.
- Prepare and maintain customer revenue forecasts, debt and investment schedules, and related analyses.
- Coordinate servicing of the Company’s debt obligations, including forecasting interest, principal, and covenant compliance metrics.
- Analyze financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets, issuing regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
- Prepare and analyze financial implications of new growth initiatives, including organic projects and M&A opportunities.
- Utilize rigorous analytical and data processing techniques to research market segments, trends, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities to provide recommendations to management.
- Document FP&A processes and controls, with a primary focus on forecasting and budgeting workflows, ownership, timelines, and key assumptions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for core FP&A activities, including forecast updates, budget submissions, review meetings, and AIP calculations.
- Regularly review and update process documentation to reflect system changes (e.g., Oracle Fusion EPM enhancements), organizational changes, and best practices.
- Initiate process improvements that maximize department efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen governance around forecasts and budgets.
- Directly manage and develop the Senior FP&A Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst, providing coaching, feedback, and support to build a high-performing FP&A team.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships extensively with operations, accounting, treasury, business unit leaders, HR, and other departments to support decision-making.
- Provide input and support the process of completing the annual financial audit.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite consistently, as public transportation may not be available or feasible for the location.
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s)
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- Possession of any of the following is strongly preferred: CFA, CPA, MBA.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis; experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development is helpful.
- Demonstrated experience leading or playing a key role in an Oracle Fusion EPM (or similar EPM) implementation for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience presenting forecasts and financial analyses to executives and/or Boards required.
- Prior people leadership experience (direct or project-based) strongly preferred.
- Strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, including three-statement modeling and scenario analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting mechanics (revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, etc.).
- Experience with ERP implementations, preferably Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
- High proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build investment banking–grade models and executive-ready presentations.
- Experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) is helpful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex financial concepts clearly and succinctly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to document processes, controls, and SOPs in a clear and organized manner.
- Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, effective multitasking, and swift strategic thinking skills.

The Sr. FP&A Manager works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The Sr. FP&A Manager may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Sr. FP&A Manager must be able to lift 25lbs.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination, depending on job demands.
