Senior Director of Facilities & Construction Management

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Director of Facilities & Construction Management

to lead all aspects of facilities operations, new construction, and renovation projects. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of construction and renovation projects.

- Manage design teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with codes, permits, and standards.

- Direct maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacement while maintaining inventory and budgets.

- Respond to urgent facility needs and ensure safety compliance.

- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets aligned with organizational goals.

- Lead and mentor management staff, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

- Support real estate initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

- Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).

- Experience:

10+ years in engineering or construction management. - 5+ years in executive or management roles overseeing facilities or construction.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Hawai‘i PE license preferred.

- Ability to travel interisland (up to 25%).
