The Senior Accountant oversees the financial and accounting practices within the company. Responsibilities include generating and analyzing financial reports, assigning accounting tasks to team members, reconciling financial statements and ensuring the efficient operation of the finance or accounting department.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Maintain full set of books of multiple companies, including posting of journal entries, invoicing; cash receipt/disbursement and recording purchases.
- Responsible for various balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Back up for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and receptionist.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of experience for a major auto parts manufacturing company.
- Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Professional Accountant or other accounting designations.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial services software and MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Computer proficiency (excel, word) and strong data entry skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) primarily in English language.
