Senior Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and compliance with regulations. This role involves preparing financial reports, reconciling account balances, and managing budget.

Duties:

- Perform closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries.

- Collaborate with leadership teams to support business operations and decision-making

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

- Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

- Assist with sales tax reporting.

- Implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of extensive accounting experience.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in SQL preferred.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
