# Safety Director

The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Safety Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous development of Safety Policies and Programs as well as effective implementation of these programs and will provide professional knowledge and expertise to support regulatory agency compliance and organizational policies.

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Emergency Management or related field, plus five years related work experience. Additional directly related work experience may be substituted for educational requirements on a year for year basis. Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver’s license.

The salary range is ($87,753.74-$131,630.6) annually) plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System. All applicants must be able to successfully complete drug screening and background investigation.
