A career in Field Operations as a Responder/Utility Technician provides an opportunity in a fast-paced environment that puts people and pipeline safety at the forefront of day-to-day activities. This typically includes but is not limited to employee responsibility for emergency and incident response, gas-related emergencies, customer requests to start and stop gas service, meter work/pipe work.

Union Bidding Completed on 10/30/25

- Responsible for gas leaks and emergencies

- Turn ons and safety checks for natural gas appliances

- Turn off and deactivation of gas service

- Gas meter changes and installation

- Compliance work including but not limited to atmospheric corrosion inspections, meter safety inspections, meter paints, etc.

- Responsible for investigating reported gas leaks and emergencies

- Activation of gas service and safety checks of natural gas appliances

Qualifications

Required Skills

- 2 years’ experience in mechanical or related field

Preferred Skills

- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking

- HVAC/Plumbing background

Required Background

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Valid Driver’s License
