JOB TITLE: Helper REQUISITION: DIS00WF DEPARTMENT: Meter Services LOCATION: F&M – 1331 N Jackson, Kansas City, Mo PAY: $25.16

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Headquartered in both Kansas City and Topeka, Evergy employs about 4,900 people who are dedicated to empowering a better future. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Helper at our Metering Services location

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities: In some areas performs duties commonly commensurate with those of a first-year apprentice. May work with or under the direction of higher-level classifications. Operates tools and equipment that are necessary to perform work of this classification. Performs manual labor, works independently or as part of crews, drives or operates vehicles, including forklifts as required. Also performs minor services and repairs on vehicles as necessary. Maintains and completes all paperwork and records necessary for this classification. Performs similar and related duties consistent with the general nature of the classification including duties normally performed by the general laborer classification.

Education and Experience Requirements: High School or equivalent
