Hazen and Sawyer is looking for a Regional Engineering Recruiter that will focus on implementing effective recruitment strategies and building pipelines for varying engineering roles across multiple regions. This role is ideal for a true engineering/technical recruiting specialist, someone with deep industry insight in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineering.

- Regional Recruiting Coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to understand regional hiring needs and lead intake calls to define job requisitions and help create strategies for proactive recruitment of passive candidates.
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting teams to ensure alignment of hiring priorities and timelines.
- Track and manage requisition progress, ensuring timely updates and follow-through.
- Drive employee referral programs and leverage internal industry contacts for passive talent.
- Talent Sourcing & Outreach
- Identify and engage high-caliber engineering candidates using LinkedIn, niche job boards, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Drive outreach campaigns and referral strategies to expand candidate reach and visibility, helping to drive continuous improvement in sourcing, outreach, and referral development workflows.
- Candidate Assessment & Interviewing
- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical teams.
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for hiring managers after interviews.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the process ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
- Industry Expertise & Market Intelligence
- Stay current on engineering industry trends, talent movement, and competitive hiring practices.
- Provide strategic insights into candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing challenges.- 5+ years of experience as a recruiter in the engineering or construction industry, with a deep understanding of engineering roles, terminology, and industry dynamics.
- Strong proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities across regions.
